We require a full time Warehouse Supervisor to work in our Distribution Centre. This is a fast paced role. The successful candidate will be able to actively influence and motivate a variety of people to ensure quality is of the highest level and maintained. Excellent communication skills, with a history of providing great customer service is essential. A furniture related background is an advantage although training will be provided. The working hours are five days out of seven, 40 hours per week, including weekends and will vary as the job demands.

Core Duties:-
- To act in a proactive manner; to allow timely provision and best use of information regarding product either being received or dispatched.
- To ensure that personnel and equipment are utilized in a cost-effective manner.
- Demonstrate a firm commitment to achieving and exceeding DC quality targets.
- To act in conjunction with the Floor Manager in maintaining the operational integrity of the warehouse.
- To provide cover in the absence of the Floor Manager.
- To ensure the smooth running of the warehouse operation.
- To ensure the daily work plan is translated into actions.
- Reconcile the receipt of product against purchase orders.
- To ensure that all products are received and dispatched in line with company policy. Aligned to scheduled requirements and to ensure all paperwork is completed correctly.
- To direct the warehouse staff regarding the movement and storage of product.
- To direct the warehouse staff in terms of training in all aspects of the DC ensuring flexibility throughout.
- To ensure that returned product from failed deliveries/transfers are accounted for, and free from damage, and are managed appropriately.
- To ensure that the working environment is maintained in a safe and clean state.
- To be involved in the daily processes of the housekeeping of the whole site.
