We have an exciting new vacancy for a Bingo and Quiz Host to join our team at The Royal Hotel in Scarborough. Pinpointed at the centre of Scarborough the Royal Hotel Scarborough offers easy accessibility by public transportation. Overlooking the beautiful South Bay, The Royal Hotel dates to the 1830s and boasts 159 classically styled bedrooms as well as a favourable sea views from the Restaurant area.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident individual to help deliver fun and engaging evening entertainment for our guests. The role will primarily involve hosting Prize Bingo and Quiz evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings, with additional shifts potentially available during the busy festive Christmas period.

Your duties will include:
- Hosting and running Prize Bingo and Quiz evenings
- Creating a fun and engaging atmosphere for hotel guests
- Confidently using a microphone and interacting with guests
- Encouraging guest participation during entertainment activities
- Assisting with the setup of entertainment areas and equipment
- Providing excellent customer service at all times
The ideal candidate will be outgoing, energetic, and confident speaking in front of groups and possess a strong understanding of gaming laws and legislation. Previous entertainment, bingo calling, quiz hosting, or customer-facing experience would be beneficial.
