We work with an active and motivated patient population across all ages, including runners, sports players, gym-goers and fitness enthusiasts. Our patient base is varied, with people seeking support for muscular aches and pains, sports-related issues, training-related soreness, injury prevention and general wellbeing.
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, positive and motivated Sports Massage Therapist who is passionate about their profession, enjoys working with people and has an open-minded approach to learning and developing.
Role
- Self-employed contract
- Clinic hours are Monday to Friday, 8am–9pm, and Saturday, 9am–1pm — your session times are flexible within those hours
- Ideal for therapists looking for flexible sessional work with room to grow alongside other commitments
- You will work autonomously, managing your own appointments and providing high-quality sports massage treatments
- Opportunity to work alongside Physiotherapists and become part of a multidisciplinary team
- Support and guidance provided alongside clinical independence

Duties
- Provide high-quality sports massage and soft tissue therapy to a varied patient population
- Assess clients to understand their individual needs, goals and training demands
- Develop and deliver individualised treatment plans
- Use appropriate massage and soft tissue techniques to support recovery, mobility and performance
- Work with runners, gym-goers, sports players and other active individuals
- Provide advice around recovery, mobility, stretching and injury prevention where appropriate
- Maintain accurate and professional client records
- Communicate effectively with clients and, where appropriate, work collaboratively with the clinic's Physiotherapists
- Provide an excellent patient experience and contribute to the friendly, professional environment of the clinic
Requirements
- Sports Massage / Soft Tissue Therapy Qualification - Level 3 or 4 Massage
- Professional Indemnity insurance
- Strong practical treatment skills and a good understanding of anatomy
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
- Professional, friendly and approachable manner
- Passionate about sports massage, rehabilitation and helping people achieve their goals
- Ability to work independently and manage your own caseload
- Previous experience working with sports, active or MSK clients is desirable
