Kaizen Technology is an Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS / CEM) provider based in Melbourn (between Royston and Cambridge).
We are looking for a practical and reliable Production / Assembly Operative to join our friendly manufacturing team.
This is a hands-on role supporting the assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical products. The work includes assembling metal chassis, fitting pre-built cables and PCB assemblies into products, carrying out basic assembly tasks, and supporting product testing and configuration activities.
The role would suit somebody who enjoys practical work, has good attention to detail, and takes pride in doing a job properly.
Previous experience within manufacturing or assembly would be beneficial, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical assembly of metal chassis and enclosure systems
- Installing pre-built cable assemblies and PCB assemblies
- Using hand tools and basic assembly equipment
- Following assembly instructions and build documentation
- Supporting product testing and configuration activities
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area
- Reporting assembly or component issues where identified
- Supporting packing and shipment preparation where required
Skills & Experience
The ideal candidate will:

- Have a positive attitude and good work ethic
Previous assembly or manufacturing experience would be helpful, but is not essential.
Experience using hand tools or working in a production environment would be an advantage.
