Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders accurately for drinks and food items
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, adhering to quality standards
- Assist in food preparation tasks to support kitchen staff and ensure timely service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the serving area, barista station, and dining space
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using basic math skills, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations at all times to guarantee guest safety
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, accommodating special requests, and ensuring guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Previous barista experience or familiarity with coffee preparation techniques is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper hygiene practices
- Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for transactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy periods
- Capable of standing, walking, and moving around for extended periods throughout shifts
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, positive attitude toward guests and team members
Pay: £10.80-£12.71 per hour
