My client, a leading Legal 500 multi-disciplinary law firm in Birmingham, known for providing high-quality legal services to a diverse client base, including high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, owner-managed businesses, and agricultural clients. As their firm continues to grow, they are looking for an experienced Private Client Lawyer to join their expanding team and contribute to the firm’s success.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Advise clients on complex estate planning, trusts, wills, tax, and succession matters.
- Provide tailored, strategic advice to high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, family-owned businesses, and agricultural clients.
- Assist with business succession planning, tax-efficient structuring, and wealth preservation.
- Maintain and foster strong client relationships and actively build your network.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Significant experience in private client law, with a proven track record advising high-net-worth individuals and entrepreneurial clients.
- Expertise in tax planning, trusts, and estate administration, particularly for owner-managed businesses and agricultural clients (desirable).
- Strong business development skills, including the ability to generate new business and nurture relationships.
- An established network of referrers or the ability to bring clients to the firm (highly attractive).
- The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team.
