Club Manager — Pavilion Fulham
Location: Pavilion- Fulham, London Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience Type: Full-time (flexibility required for evenings and weekends)
About Us
Pavilion Fulham is a private members' club combining a clubhouse, workspace and hospitality destination — a restaurant, bar and terrace, meeting rooms, and a community of members and resident tenants. We pride ourselves on warm, attentive service and a club atmosphere that feels genuinely welcoming, whether someone's dropping in for coffee, hosting a private event, or working from the club for the day.
The Role
We're looking for an experienced Club Manager to lead day-to-day operations at Pavilion Fulham. You'll be the driving force behind the member experience — overseeing front of house, food & beverage, events and membership services, while leading a close-knit team and keeping the club running smoothly, profitably, and to a consistently high standard.
What You'll Be Doing
Member experience & club operations — Oversee front-of-house and reception, membership administration (applications, renewals, freezes, and the weekly committee process), and day-to-day guest and tenant relations. Be the person members and tenants know they can turn to.
Food & beverage — Manage service across the restaurant, bar and terrace, including reservations (OpenTable) and point-of-sale (Lightspeed). Keep an eye on stock, standards, and revenue — especially on busier private-event weekends.
Events — Oversee the private hire enquiry process and the members' events calendar, coordinating function sheets, room changeovers and RSVPs so events run without a hitch.
Team leadership — Recruit, train and manage the front-of-house, F&B and reception team. Own the rota, performance, and day-to-day culture — we want a manager who leads by example and builds a team people are proud to be part of.
Systems & administration — Get comfortable with the club's day-to-day tools: the Pavilion Portal, HubSpot, SALTO access control, and Business Central for invoicing and billing. You don't need to be an expert on day one, but you should be quick to pick up new systems.
Compliance & standards — Keep the club compliant on health & safety and licensing, and handle any incidents or complaints calmly and fairly.
Financial performance — Manage budgets, revenue reporting and cost control across F&B and events, and keep an eye on the numbers as closely as you do the floor.
About You
- Proven experience managing a hospitality venue, private members' club, or similar guest-facing operation
- A natural leader — comfortable managing a varied team and setting the tone for how they treat each other and members
- Calm under pressure, with high standards for service and presentation
- Confident picking up hospitality systems (POS, CRM, reservations) — experience with HubSpot, Lightspeed or OpenTable is a plus
- Financially literate, with a good handle on budgets and revenue reporting
- A genuine commitment to building a respectful, supportive team culture
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends
What We Offer
- A competitive salary, dependent on experience
- A sociable, close-knit working environment at the heart of a private members' club
- Ongoing training and development, and room to grow with the club
- Staff meals and discounts while on shift
