We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fabricator/ Fitter/Assembly worker to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling and fabricating components with precision and efficiency. Duties
- Utilise hand tools and power tools
- Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials as required
- Conduct assembly, ensuring proper fit and function
- Use basic maths skills to measure and calculate dimensions during fabrication and assembly processes
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations
Requirements
- Proven experience in fabrication and assembly processes
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Experience performing fabrication tasks in a manufacturing setting
- Good understanding of basic maths for measurements and calculations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures related to fabrication and assembly tasks
