Breadroom Operative – Tiffin Sandwiches
Location: 20 Commondale Way, Bradford, BD4 6SF
Shift Pattern:
- Position 1: Tuesday to Saturday
- Position 2: Friday and Saturday
Hours: Permanent, Full-time / Part-time (depending on position)

The Role
We are looking for reliable and hardworking Breadroom Operatives to join our production team. This is a key role within our manufacturing operation, ensuring the efficient movement of bread and finished products throughout the production process. You will work closely with production and packing teams to help maintain smooth operations while upholding the highest standards of food safety and quality.
As part of the role, you will also support the transfer of products between departments using the site's shunt van.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive finished products from production after they have passed through the metal detection process.
- Check and accurately count finished products before they are transferred.
- Supply baskets of bread to the production department to ensure production runs efficiently.
- Support the movement of finished products from the Breadroom to the Packing department.
- Safely load and unload the shunt van as part of transferring products between departments.
- Drive the on-site shunt van when required to transport products safely and efficiently.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and product quality at all times.
- Keep the Breadroom clean, organised, and free from hazards.
- Follow all company food safety procedures, policies, and HACCP requirements.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve daily production targets.
- Report any food safety, quality, or operational concerns to your supervisor.
What We're Looking For
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced food production environment.
- Comfortable carrying out manual handling duties and being on your feet throughout the shift.
- Good attention to detail with accurate counting and product checking skills.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Holds a full UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points, as the role requires driving the on-site shunt van.
- Previous food manufacturing or production experience is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided.
