Here at Electricity Asset Services (EAS), we are currently looking for an Asset Inspector to join our family-run business.
The role involves working 45 hours per week and requires travel across Central Scotland, Fife, Lanarkshire and other locations. Therefore, a full driving licence is required.

EAS specialise in procurement, design, management and execution of all works associated with High and Low voltage underground electricity networks on behalf of major framework contractors and Distribution Network Operators (DNO’s).
We have over 40 years combined experience specific to our services offered such as HV/LV cable jointing and terminating, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, 24 hours emergency call out, project management and more. Our purpose is to positively contribute to the electrical industry- providing value to our clients, customer and our people.
Purpose
As an Asset Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting surveys to support project planning across EAS. You will play a key role in capturing accurate data, identifying risks or defects, and providing detailed reports that inform maintenance and future works. Your inspections will help ensure that future works are carried out safely and compliantly.
Overview of Main Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct surveys for Cablehead Projects.
- Ability to identify whether a customer's LV service cable is looped to neighbouring properties.
- Work closely with Managers and Administrators.
- Identify risks and potential defects.
- Collect data and complete accurate reports.
- Deliver letters to customers or neighbours who are not present.
