Bridge the Gap ending digital poverty C.I.C is a nonprofit organisation dedicated to building stronger communities by supporting individuals and families in need across London. Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and creative Volunteer Photographer to join our team. As a volunteer photographer, you will play a crucial role in capturing the essence of our work and the impact we have on the community. Your photographs will be used across our social media channels, website, newsletters, and marketing materials to highlight our events, programs, and the individuals we serve.
Key Responsibilities
- Capture high-quality images at various Bridge the Gap London events and activities.
- Work closely with our communications and marketing team to understand the visual needs for different campaigns and projects.
- Edit and retouch photos as needed to ensure they meet the organisation’s standards.
- Assist in creating a library of images that reflect our mission and impact.
- Ensure that all individuals photographed have provided consent, in line with our privacy policies.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in photography, either professionally or as a passionate hobby.
- Proficiency with DSLR cameras and photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
- A creative eye and the ability to capture powerful, emotive images.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A commitment to the mission and values of Bridge the Gap London.
- Ability to attend events in various locations across London (travel costs may be covered).
