About the Role:
We are a female led, fast paced and growing business looking for a reliable and motivated Warehouse Assistant to support our operations. This role is ideal for someone who is hands on, proactive, physically fit, and enjoys working in a busy environment.
With over 4,000 unique products in our range, you will play a key role in ensuring orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately while maintaining high standards of organisation within the warehouse. This is a practical and active role that is essential to the smooth running of the business.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
- Pick, pack, and dispatch customer orders quickly and accurately
- Lift, carry, and move stock safely and efficiently
- Receive, check, and organise incoming deliveries
- Replenish stock and ensure products are stored correctly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory management
Stock & Organisation
- Ensure accurate stock levels are maintained across all products
- Identify and report discrepancies or damaged goods
- Support efficient warehouse layout and product accessibility
General Support
- Assist other team members during busy periods
- Provide occasional support with shop floor tasks if required
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times
Essential Requirements
- Physically fit and able to carry out manual handling tasks regularly
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organisational skills and ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Reliable, punctual, and self motivated
- Basic computer skills for order and inventory systems
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
Desirable Attributes
- Experience with inventory or warehouse management systems
- Manual handling training or warehouse health and safety knowledge
- Interest in sustainability and eco friendly products
