Summary
We are seeking a passionate Physical Education Teacher to join our team at Full of Beans Fitness Ltd. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and inspiring students in the importance of physical fitness and healthy living, while fostering a love for sports and exercise. You will follow the national curriculum and lesson plans are provided.
We are looking for a PE Teacher for Monday afternoons 12 - 4 on Mondays and 9 - 4 on Fridays in Runcorn and 12 - 4.15 in Haydock on Wednesdays. We may have other work on other days but tbc.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement engaging physical education lessons that promote health and fitness.
- Teach students the fundamentals of various sports and physical activities.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to create a positive learning environment.
- Communicate clearly with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress.
- Organize and lead extracurricular sports activities and events.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, primary QTS or Minimum Level 2 sports coach with a number of NGB qualifications
- Experience in teaching physical education or coaching sports for a minimum of one year
- Strong communication skills to effectively engage with students and parents.
- Ability to manage classroom behaviour positively.
- Organizational skills to plan lessons and activities efficiently.
