Self-Employed / Flexible Role
Home Physio Company provides high-quality private physiotherapy visits in patients’ homes across the community. We support adults and older people with mobility issues, rehabilitation, falls prevention, neurological conditions, post-operative recovery and general physical wellbeing.
We are looking for a confident, organised and compassionate individual to join our growing team in a flexible hybrid role combining patient coordination/administration with rehabilitation support.
This role would suit someone with experience in healthcare, physiotherapy support, rehabilitation, care coordination or private medical administration who enjoys speaking with patients and being part of a caring, professional service.
The Role
This is a varied role involving:
- Answering patient and family enquiries by phone and email
- Understanding patient needs and directing enquiries appropriately
- Coordinating physiotherapist diaries and appointments
- Supporting smooth day-to-day operations
- Building rapport with patients and families
- Explaining Home Physio Company services confidently and professionally
- Following up enquiries and bookings
- Supporting rehabilitation sessions and exercise programmes where appropriate
- Assisting physiotherapists with patient care and rehabilitation plans
- Maintaining accurate patient records and communication
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Speaks fluent, confident English
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is warm, calm and professional on the phone
- Can confidently speak with older adults and families
- Is highly organised and reliable
- Has healthcare, rehabilitation or medical administration experience
- Is confident using computers, email and scheduling systems
- Works well independently and proactively
- Has a caring and professional attitude
Desirable Experience
Experience in one or more of the following would be beneficial:
- Physiotherapy assistant / rehabilitation assistant
- Therapy assistant
- NHS or private healthcare administration
- Care coordination
- Community healthcare
- Elderly care
- Neurological or orthopaedic rehabilitation
