Residents live independently within the care village and receive personalised care and support in their own homes. All care is delivered on-site, meaning no travel between visits and more time to focus on quality, relationship-based care.
Job Summary
We are recruiting Domiciliary Care Support Workers to support older people with care needs living independently within Lavender Fields Care Village. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care that promotes dignity, independence, and wellbeing, supporting residents with daily living activities in line with individual care plans.
This role requires flexible working across 7 days, including evenings and weekends.
Hours of this job are 7am - 2.30pm, 2.30pm - 10pm. 10pm-7am sleep-ins.
Key Responsibilities
· Provide high-quality domiciliary care to older people
· Support with personal care, washing, dressing, and continence care
· Assist with medication support as per assessment and training
· Support with meal preparation, nutrition, and hydration
· Encourage independence, choice, and wellbeing
· Maintain accurate care records and documentation
· Follow safeguarding, infection control, and health & safety procedures
· Work collaboratively within a supportive care team
Requirements
Essential
· Right to work in the UK
· Clear DBS check - This can be provided.
· Good written and spoken English
· Basic IT skills
· Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
· Willingness to complete mandatory training
Desirable
· Experience supporting older people in domiciliary or residential care
· Care Certificate or NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care - This can be provided.
