Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
- Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist with meal preparation during busy service periods to support team efficiency
- Monitor stock levels and communicate needs for replenishment
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently, including proper handling of food and equipment
- Support other kitchen staff as needed, including assisting with plating and garnishing dishes
Experience
- Previous experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant environment is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Experience in meal preparation, food service, or related roles is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team
