Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Spa Therapist to join our prestigious spa team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for wellness and beauty, combined with exceptional skills in delivering a range of ESPA and ishga treatments. As a Senior Spa Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring our clients receive the highest level of service and care, contributing to their overall relaxation and experience.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a variety of spa treatments including massages, facials, body wraps, tailored to individual client needs.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients to assess their requirements and recommend appropriate treatments and homecare.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming treatment environment that adheres to health and safety regulations.
- Supporting and liaising with Spa Manager to assist in people management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by ensuring clients feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit.
- Mentor and train therapists, sharing knowledge and best practices to elevate the overall standard of service within the team.
- Managing therapist utilisation and treatment room occupancy to ensure a financially sound operation.
- Responsible for setting and/or monitoring retail targets
- To maintain the stock at the correct level in treatment rooms through stock rotation and stock takes.
- Handle client feedback professionally, addressing any concerns promptly to ensure a positive experience.
Qualifications
- A recognised qualification in massage therapy or beauty therapy is essential; additional certifications in specialised treatments are advantageous.
- Proven experience as a Spa Therapist, preferably in a senior or supervisory role within a luxury spa environment.
- Strong knowledge of various treatments, massage techniques and skincare products.
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build rapport with clients.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required by the spa’s operational needs.
- A passion for wellness, self-care, and helping others achieve their goals.
The candidate must have HNC/ HND or equivalent qualification in beauty or complimentary therapy. Previous experience in a therapist role with ESPA AND ISHGA training would be advantageous, with a good understanding of client care and five-star treatment standards.
The successful candidate will have day-to-day responsibility for equipment, products, cleanliness and hygiene of treatment areas, and assist with demonstrations/events as required. You will also have daily responsibility of your retail sales, treatments and up selling
