About Us
ANN Events Hire is a leading luxury event décor and hire company specialising in Asian weddings, corporate events, and private celebrations. We are looking for an experienced, organised, and hands-on Event Manager to join our growing team. This is a varied role that requires someone who can confidently manage events from the initial booking through to successful delivery, ensuring every event meets the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage event enquiries, bookings, quotations, and client communications.
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of events, including logistics, staffing, transport, and timelines.
- Organise and oversee the installation and dismantling of mandaps, stages, dance floors, décor, lighting, furniture, and event equipment.
- Lead and supervise event crews during venue setup and pack-down.
- Ensure all equipment is prepared, checked, loaded, delivered, and collected on time.
- Liaise with clients, venues, suppliers, caterers, DJs, photographers, entertainers, and other contractors.
- Conduct venue visits and prepare detailed event plans.
- Manage multiple events simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.
- Resolve last-minute issues calmly and professionally.
- Ensure all events are delivered to the highest standards of quality and customer service.
- Maintain stock levels and assist with warehouse organisation when required.
- Support business development by building strong client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Ensure all health and safety procedures are followed throughout every event.
Requirements
- Previous experience in event management, hospitality, or luxury events is preferred.
- Experience working with Asian weddings and large-scale events is highly desirable.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Strong problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident working under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have a good knowledge of wedding venues across London and the surrounding areas, including venue layouts, access requirements, loading bays, and event logistics.
- Flexible and willing to work long hours, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and bank holidays, particularly during the busy wedding season.
- Willing to assist with manual event setup, including mandap installations and venue transformations when required.
- Physically fit and comfortable working in a hands-on environment.
- Full UK driving licence preferred.
- Reliable, punctual, professional, and well-presented.

Working Hours
Due to the nature of the events industry, flexibility is essential. This role requires working evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. During peak wedding season, long shifts and early starts or late finishes will be required, particularly for large Asian weddings and mandap installations.
