Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Engage with guests warmly, taking orders accurately while providing knowledgeable recommendations on drinks and menu items.
- Operate POS systems to process transactions swiftly and accurately, including cash handling and credit card payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
- Manage bar inventory by monitoring stock levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste through effective time management.
- Support catering events, banquets, or nightclubs by serving drinks efficiently in high-volume settings while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Uphold all food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service policies to ensure guest safety at all times.
Experience
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a fast-paced environment such as fine dining restaurants, nightclubs, or banquet halls is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS system is essential for processing transactions smoothly.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while maintaining high-quality service.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and handle diverse situations professionally.
- Experience serving in the food industry or retail math skills for accurate cash handling and sales tracking.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, basic math for measuring ingredients, and beverage preparation techniques including brewing or mixing cocktails.
