The Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Property Administrator to support the day-to-day operation of one of our student accommodation schemes.
Based on site, this role is central to the resident experience and combines front-of-house reception duties, resident support, administration and sales activity. The successful candidate will act as one of the key points of contact for residents, visitors, contractors and prospective customers, ensuring the property operates efficiently whilst delivering an outstanding customer experience.
This is a highly visible role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent service and can confidently manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Resident Experience & Customer Service
Deliver a welcoming, professional and responsive front-of-house service to residents and visitors.
Build positive relationships with residents and contribute to a strong sense of community within the property.
Support residents with day-to-day queries, issues and requests, ensuring timely resolution or escalation where required.
Assist with resident communications, events and engagement initiatives.
Handle complaints and concerns professionally and empathetically, helping to achieve positive outcomes for residents and the business.
Administration & Operational Support
Maintain accurate resident, tenancy and property records using internal systems.
Support tenancy administration processes including check-ins, check-outs, renewals and room transfers.
Assist with rent account administration and resident communications relating to payments and documentation.
Coordinate and log maintenance requests, monitoring progress and resident updates.
Support compliance, health & safety and operational reporting requirements.
Assist the wider management team with general administrative and operational tasks as required.
Sales & Lettings Support
Conduct property viewings and support prospective residents through the booking journey.
Respond to sales enquiries professionally and promptly via telephone, email and in person.
Support occupancy and retention targets through excellent customer engagement and conversion.
Promote the property, events and resident experience positively across all customer interactions.
Assist with student intake periods and key operational milestones throughout the academic year.
Working pattern: Monday to Friday between 8am and 8pm on a rota basis, with occasional weekend shifts as required. Additional flexibility will be required during key operational periods throughout the year, including student arrivals, check-ins, departures, and check-outs, to support business needs.

About You
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent customer service and communication skills.

Demonstrates professionalism, accountability and attention to detail.
Is confident using Microsoft Office and property management or CRM systems.
Can work both independently and as part of a wider team.
Has previous experience in administration, hospitality, property, student accommodation, retail or customer-facing environments (preferred but not essential).
Additional language skills (Mandarin Preferred).
