Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Alloy Wheel Technician/Smart Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for restoring alloy wheels to their original condition and performing smart repairs on various vehicle surfaces. Responsibilities
- Repair and refurbish alloy wheels, including sanding, polishing, painting, and sealing to restore their appearance and structural integrity
- Perform smart repairs on vehicle surfaces such as bumper scuffs, scratches, dents, and paint chips using specialized tools and techniques
- Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively to carry out repairs with precision
- Conduct thorough inspections of damaged parts to determine the best repair approach and ensure quality standards are met
- Assist with heavy lifting of vehicle components or parts as needed, following proper safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are properly stored after use
- Document repair processes accurately and communicate progress clearly to team members or supervisors
Requirements
- Mechanical knowledge with a good understanding of automotive components and repair techniques
- Experience using hand tools and power tools for automotive or surface repairs
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling wheels or vehicle parts
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality workmanship
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment
- Prior experience in alloy wheel refurbishment or smart repairs is essential
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, kneel, and lift throughout the workday
Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
