Our team is passionate about supporting children's individual hobbies, needs, and skills whilst making meaningful memories. We are looking to recruit dynamic, innovative, caring, and experienced Children's Support Workers to join our growing team on a full-time or part-time basis.
Fernleigh House is a unique 3-bedroom children's home in Gunnislake on the Cornwall/Devon borders, supporting children with learning disabilities and complex needs. We are dedicated to making them feel safe, not just in their homes but also in the surrounding areas.
We are seeking good role models for our young people who have a calm and compassionate demeanour, are physically fit and active to keep up with scooting, swimming and all the things teenage boys like to do.

We offer Children’s Support Workers £14.00 per hour and £60 for sleep-ins

As a Children's Support Worker you will be responsible for:
- Acting as a corporate parent to care for, support and meet the needs of thechildren
- Cooking, cleaning, assisting with homework and participating in activities
- Safeguarding and promoting welfare of children
- To ensure all paperwork is completed to a high standard
- Supporting Children and young people with appointments/health checks
The successful candidate will have:
- At least 1 year experience working with Children
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 3 in residential childcare (or equivalent)
