Great Athletes is a social enterprise that organises for Olympic and Paralympic Athletes to visit primary schools to inspire children. Our small team of Events Coordinators liaise with schools to pitch, book and manage such events.
Team members are all highly experienced specialists who enjoy selling in a fun, professional and fast paced environment. We have a continuous learning environment and are inspired by our mission to increase physical activity levels in young children.
Option to work around school holidays (salary pro rata). Role would work well for someone who would not be able to work in school holidays.
Would suit customer services exec, sales administrator who enjoys customer contact, telesales exec looking to a broaden their experience towards events organisation, etc.
Role
· Participate in each day’s “telephone blitz” to encourage schools to book events.
· Raise associated booking administration.
· Check the availability of the most appropriate athlete for the school, liaise with the athlete and/or sportivater to confirm booking details.
· Positively build and maintain regular contact with athletes and sportivaters.
· Ensure the school contact receives confirmed booking arrangements.
· Positively and efficiently respond to all enquiries with a view to promoting the company.
· Maintain the CRM IT system.
· Put together school packs and send out prizes.
· Other team-related sales and administration as needed.
Pay: From £30,000.00 per year
