Job Overview
Stacked House of Food is opening soon in Chapel Allerton, and we are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Barista / Front of House Team Member to join our team.
This role will involve preparing hot and cold drinks, serving customers, taking orders, using the till/POS system, keeping the front of house area clean and organised, and supporting the team during busy periods.
Barista or hospitality experience is preferred, but training will be provided for the right person.
Duties
- Prepare and serve hot and cold drinks, including coffees, teas, shakes and other beverages
- Greet customers warmly and provide friendly customer service
- Take orders accurately and process payments using the POS/till system
- Keep the front of house area clean, tidy and organised
- Replenish stock, cups, drinks, packaging and supplies during shifts
- Support with basic food preparation and packing orders where required
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation
- Follow food safety, health and safety, and business procedures
- Support team members during busy periods to keep service running smoothly
- Help create a welcoming and professional customer experience
Experience
- Previous barista, café, restaurant, takeaway or hospitality must have previous experience.
- Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred, but this can be completed online before starting
- Confident customer service skills are important
- Basic maths skills are needed for handling payments accurately
- Good timekeeping, reliability and a positive attitude are essential
- Must be able to work well as part of a team and stay calm during busy periods
- Flexibility with shifts, including weekends and evenings, is preferred
