About the Role
P & P Cleaning Services Ltd is a well-established exterior cleaning company based in Bolton. We are looking for an experienced professional window cleaner to join our team as a Window Cleaner / Driver Manager.
This is not a trainee position. Applicants must already have professional window cleaning experience and be confident carrying out window cleaning using a water-fed pole system.
The successful applicant will drive a company van and work alongside another member of our cleaning team. As Driver/Manager, you will be responsible for managing the working day, completing scheduled jobs efficiently and ensuring our high standards of workmanship and customer service are maintained.
Duties Will Include
- Professional window cleaning using water-fed pole systems
- Domestic and commercial window cleaning
- Driving a company van between jobs
- Managing and working alongside another member of staff
- Following a scheduled daily cleaning round
- Ensuring work is completed safely and to a high standard
- Communicating professionally with customers
- Looking after company equipment and the assigned vehicle
- Assisting with other exterior cleaning work where required
Essential Requirements
Applicants must:
- Have previous professional window cleaning experience
- Have experience using water-fed pole window cleaning systems
- Hold a full UK clean driving licence
- Be confident driving a company van
- Live in Bolton or the immediate Bolton area
- Be reliable and punctual
- Be physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weathers throughout the year
- Be able to work independently and as part of a two-person team
- Be confident taking responsibility for the working day and another team member
- Have a professional and friendly manner when dealing with customers
Hours & Travel
The position is permanent Monday to Friday, averaging approximately 40 hours per week.
The normal working day starts at approximately 7:30am in Halliwell, Bolton.
We have regular work throughout Bolton and the North West, including Manchester, Chester, Crewe, Northwich and Lancaster. Start and finish times may therefore vary on travelling days.
Travelling time is paid when driving the company vehicle.
Pay after 6 months
£14.00 per hour – Driver/Manager
Holiday entitlement/pay will be provided in accordance with the employee's working arrangement and statutory entitlement.
