Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping clients optimise their physical movement and recover from injuries through massage techniques. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing tailored treatments that promote relaxation, healing, and overall well-being. Responsibilities
- Professional conduct thorough assessments of clients’ muscular health and identify areas requiring treatment, internal referrals with come with recommendation.
- Deliver customised massage therapy aimed at improving function, performance, flexibility, and recovery.
- Utilise a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release.
- Interest in implementing cold laser therapy (PBMT), a course may be offered if so.
- Maintain accurate client records in accordance with treatment plans and professional standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care.
- Ensure the treatment environment is clean, safe, and welcoming for all clients
Requirements
- Some experience as a Massage Therapist beneficial.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology essential for effective treatment planning.
- Certification or qualification in massage therapy recognised by relevant professional bodies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds
- Organised with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping and personalised care plans
- A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and high standards of hygiene and safety
- Ability to work flexibly and to be available within scheduled hours, one evening a week and alternate Saturday mornings may be required.
Pay: £15.00-£20.00 per hour
