Singer Instruments designs and manufactures robots that support scientists conducting cutting edge research to solve diseases and environmental problems to make the world a better place. We are experiencing an exciting period of international growth. We need talented people who have the skills and experience to help us create market-leading products.
A great opportunity has opened up within the busy Quality Department. We need someone skilled in scientific testing, data analysis, and reporting. If you have an interest in robots, working in a tight team and producing high quality work, then this may be the role for you.
The Quality department fulfils an important function for Singers. We are responsible for setting quality policy and assuring the quality of our products for our Customers. We ensure every product we ship to our Customers meets our exacting standards of performance.
Conducting quality control testing is just one of the core activities of the QC Technician. In addition, you will be jointly responsible for preparing test samples, maintaining equipment and providing test reports. Youll also contribute to R&D projects to help develop our future products.
The Quality Dept provides a comprehensive training program that covers a wide syllabus of quality focused subjects. The aim is to equip QC Technicians for the work they do and to ultimately develop them into quality subject matter experts, if desired. This opens up a clear pathway to pursue suitable opportunities either inside or outside of the Dept.
Youll be joining a small dedicated team working alongside another QC Technician, QC Supervisor and the Quality Manager.
