We are a friendly, patient focused, dispensing practice with 7800 patients. We are looking for a Practice Nurse to join us who would be happy to work as part of a multidisciplinary team which includes GP’s, nurse, HCA, phlebotomist, dispensers, medical receptionists, pharmacist & social prescribers
Job description includes:
Cytology
Injections
New Patient Medicals/Urinalysis
Phlebotomy
Wound care
Travel vaccinations
ECGs
Hypertension Management
Routine immunisations/Childhood immunisations
Child health/Child Protection
Assisting GPs with minor surgery and coil fittings
Asthma and Diabetes management
Post holder will provide and maintain a high standard of nursing care for patients as well as providing nursing assistance to the doctors and other members of the primary healthcare team.
Experience:
- Practice Nursing: 1 year preferred.
Qualification:
· Must hold NMC registration.
This is a part time position of 24hrs per week worked over 3 days. We would be happy to offer more hours if required. A competitive salary, based upon experience, will be offered.
