Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting Production Assembly Operatives for a well-established commercial vehicle manufacturer in Aldridge.
This is an excellent opportunity for practical, reliable candidates seeking stable manufacturing work in the local Aldridge and Walsall area. The four-day working week also gives you a three-day weekend.
You will work as part of a busy production team, assembling metal frames and vehicle components using hand tools. Full product-specific training will be provided, but previous experience in assembly, manufacturing or another practical role would be beneficial.
Your Duties
- Assembling frames, components and vehicle subsections
- Using hand tools and power tools safely
- Measuring components accurately with a tape measure
- Following assembly instructions and basic production drawings
- Marking out, drilling, fastening and fitting parts
- Checking completed work for accuracy and quality
- Working with colleagues to meet production requirements
- Keeping your workstation clean, organised and safe
- Following all health and safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
To be considered, you must:
- Be confident using hand tools
- Be able to read a tape measure accurately
- Have good practical and mechanical ability
- Be comfortable carrying out hands-on, physically active work
- Have strong attention to detail
- Be reliable and punctual for a 6:30am start
- Work effectively as part of a production team
Previous experience in production assembly, manufacturing, vehicle building, engineering, construction or a similar practical environment would be advantageous.
