LGV C Driver – Palletised General Haulage
Location: Rugby
Start Time: Between 06:00 – 07:30
Days of work: Monday to Friday
Salary: £17.37 per hour
This is a rolled up rate off rate plus holiday
About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Class 2 Driver to join our team in Rugby. This role involves general palletised haulage for daily deliveries and collections. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods while maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safety
- Arrive on time and communicate any delays to the traffic office
- Follow company procedures, customer requirements, and the Highway Code
- Maintain high health and safety standards at all times
- Complete all deliveries and collections as per the manifest
- Adhere to EU tachograph and Working Time Directive (WTD) regulations
- Keep your vehicle clean and presentable
Requirements:
Valid LGV C (Class 2) licence
Up-to-date Driver CPC (DQC) Qualification Card
Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Good communication and time management skills
Previous experience in general haulage or palletised deliveries preferred
