Job Summary:
We are looking to recruit a part-time cleaner to keep our Church in Carlisle clean and tidy. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring that the building is clean, neat & tidy and ready for use while maintaining a safe working environment at all times. Self-motivation, good time keeping, reliability, honesty and integrity are essential.
Key Responsibilities:

Cleaning, vacuuming and dusting throughout the building

Cleaning all horizontal and vertical surfaces.

Cleaning toilets, sinks and washing toilet floor

Ensuring toilet supplies are replenished
-
Cleaning kitchen surfaces and floor, emptying and cleaning waste bins and removing rubbish.

Clean and put away dishes and utensils if required

Monitor cleaning supplies and re-ordering when necessary
The successful candidate(s) will be able to demonstrate:

Previous cleaning experience

Be able to work alone and use initiative

To have knowledge of Health & Safety

Ability to work within the ethos of The Salvation Army
