Take The Exit is an Escape Room company in Hull with three themed rooms and our new experience, Carnival, opening soon!
Do you want to work somewhere truly unique? We're looking for an Escape Room Assistant to join our lovely team at Take The Exit.
We need flexible staff to be available for shifts on weekdays, and weekends as a possibility if their schedule fits. After your probation period, you will have the chance to continue working for us.
Whether you've done escape rooms before or not, we're looking for someone confident and charismatic to provide customers with a great experience.

Our ideal candidate looks like:
- Someone with weekend availability. Weekday availability is desirable but not a requirement.
- Someone local to Hull and available during half terms and school holidays
- Somebody good under pressure and willing to work last minute bookings
- Someone friendly and willing to learn
What’s expected of you:
- You will host themed games for teams of 2-8 players. This includes engaging with different groups of people, prepping the game, talking about health & safety and dos & don’ts, and resetting during busy times.
- You may be required to answer phone calls and respond to customer queries.
- You’ll provide a smooth and thematic journey for customers as soon as they enter the venue.
- During non-customer time you will be required to clean, tidy, and assist with quality checks for the games.
- You may be asked to assist in creating puzzles and repairing props
We would love it if you have the following skills or attributes:
- Customer focused and positive attitude.
- Performing arts and acting experience would be an advantage.
- Be able to work alone and as part of a team.
- Flexible availability during the week.
- Available at short notice for any last minute bookings when possible would be an advantage.
- Able to build good working relationships with team members and customers.
- Learn to run your game around your customers’ needs giving them the best experience possible.
- An eye for detail and implementing on your feet solutions when needed.
- Any design, marketing, or DIY skills you can bring to the job will always be useful
