Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various environments, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role requires a strong commitment to quality service and attention to detail, making it essential for the Cleaner to effectively communicate with team members and clients. This is paid per caravan cleaned on a self employed basis.
Responsibilities
- Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
- Change and re-make beds for the incoming guests.
- Take the Dirty washing away and clean for the next change of guests.
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any concerns or requests promptly.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
- Drive to various locations as required, ensuring timely arrival for scheduled cleaning tasks.
Experience
- Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Proficiency in English is required for effective communication with clients and team members.
- Strong customer service skills are essential to ensure client satisfaction.
- Ability to drive.
- A proactive attitude towards work and the ability to work independently or as part of a team is highly valued.

Pay: £11.44-£15.61 per hour

- Are you available on Mondays and Fridays including School and Bank Holidays? Roughly 10-4 as that’s the change over window for the cleaning to take place.
- Are you aware that you are responsible for doing the washing of the linen( tea towel, bath mats and bed linen) between cleans?
- You will be required to supply your own cleaning products? Is this ok?
- To ensure standards are met, we have a cleaning log to complete in each caravan, are you happy to do this to say you have completed each task?
- The identifying and reporting of damage is done usually by taking photos and sending them via WhatsApp Message. Are you happy to do this?
- Sometimes we come across vans left in a really bad state — food waste, stains, rubbish everywhere. Can you talk me through how you’d approach cleaning a caravan like that?
- You’ve been assigned 4 caravans to clean in one shift, each with different checkout times and cleanliness levels. How would you plan your day to make sure they’re all finished on time?
