Support Worker – Supported Living (Full-Time)

We’re recruiting a full-time Support Worker to join our supported living services in Exminster, supporting adults with mental health needs, learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs.
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a vital part in helping people live independently, build confidence and achieve meaningful goals in their everyday lives.

What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll be supporting individuals to live fulfilling, independent lives by:
- Listening to and respecting each person’s choices, supporting informed decision-making
- Encouraging involvement in the local community
- Supporting access to work, education and leisure activities
- Helping individuals build friendships and pursue new interests
- Following personalised support plans to achieve goals and outcomes
- Assisting with daily living tasks while promoting independence
Working Pattern
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week)
- Shifts between 7:00am – 10:00pm
- Sleep-in shifts 10:00pm – 8:00am (approx. 4 per month)
- Rolling rota including weekends
Pay & Enhancements
- Salary range basic £24,784 to £28,672.00 depending on overtime, bank holiday enhancements and sleep in shifts worked.
- Overtime bonus: +£1.50 per hour on top of basic pay
Unsocial Hours Enhancements:
- Saturdays (17:30–22:30): +£1.50/hr
- Sundays (07:30–22:30): +£1.50/hr
- Bank Holidays: +£1.50/hr
- Christmas Day: Double time
- Boxing Day, New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday: Time and a half
- New Year’s Eve (from 22:30): Time and a half

Desirable (not essential):
- Experience in a support/care environment
- NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care
Requirements
- Two satisfactory references
- Enhanced DBS check
- Full, clean driving licence (required – you’ll be driving service users’ mobility vehicles)
- Fluent English
- Ability to reliably commute to or relocate to Exminster
