Event Setup & Breakdown
- Assist with and lead elements of event setup, including layout, signage, and placing client-provided items.
- Care for event items throughout the event to prevent loss or damage.
- Support pack-down, secure items, and prepare for supplier or client collection.
- Liaise with suppliers regarding collections as directed.
Event Delivery & Guest Experience
- Support Event and Venue Managers to ensure events run to schedule and meet core values.
- Uphold SOPs.
- Maintain hygiene, safety and presentation standards at all times.
- Greet and assist guests, provide directions, and respond to queries.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients, providing friendly & welcoming communication throughout their event.
- Handle last-minute requests or issues professionally.
- Assist with coordination of drinks reception and bar service alongside the Venue Manager.
- Maintain presentation of tables and event spaces throughout the event.
- Read & ingest event information packs.
Bar Service Support
- Lead service and delivery of all bar duties, working closely with the Venue Manager.
- Monitor drink presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience.
- Support a team culture where staff are empowered, friendly, helpful & have confidence to attend to guest needs.
- Lead small teams of casual staff during shifts.
Catering & Food Service Support
- Assist with coordination and delivery of all food service elements, working closely with the Lead Chef.
- Attend event briefings with the Event Manager and Lead Chef.
- Lead briefings and provide guidance to casual staff during events.
- Monitor food presentation, cleanliness, and guest experience.
- Support a team culture where staff are empowered, friendly, helpful & have confidence to attend to guest needs.
Allergen, Food Safety & Compliance
- Maintain a strong working knowledge of allergens across all menus.
- Ensure allergen-specific meals are correctly identified and served.
- Support allergen awareness for guests and staff.
- Monitor food stations for cross-contamination risks and report concerns immediately.
- Ensure allergen signage is present for buffet services.
- Support compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Seasonal Restaurant Support
- Support food and beverage service within the seasonal restaurant as required.
- Lead small teams of casual staff during restaurant shifts.
- Ensure guest satisfaction, cleanliness, allergen compliance, and food safety standards.
- Provide on-the-job training and support to casual staff.
