We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Groundworker to join our growing team working on water infrastructure projects, ideally someone who could operate a 360 as a cover/work every other weekend driving a 360.
Experience within the water industry would be beneficial, particularly with water mains, plastic pipework, ductile iron pipework, steel pipework, valves, fittings and associated groundworks. However, attitude and willingness to learn are more important than having years of experience.
We are looking for someone who:
- Turns up every day and takes pride in their work
- Is physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- Has a good grounding in general civils and groundworks
- Is switched on, willing to learn and able to take instruction
- Works well within a team environment
- Has a strong focus on health and safety
Desirable Experience:
- Water mains installation and repairs
- Plastic, steel and ductile iron pipework
- Excavations and reinstatement works
- Utilities or civil engineering projects
- Plant tickets
- EUSR Water Hygiene (advantageous but not essential)
The job itself is for around 4-5 weeks, with the opportunity for further, we like to be transparent.
Pay: £20.00-£23.00 per hour
