Exeter Property Maintenance is looking for a creative Videographer and Social Media Content Creator to help make EPM the best-known property maintenance company in Devon.
We are not necessarily looking for someone with years of professional experience or marketing qualifications. We are looking for someone who understands social media, knows how to create entertaining videos and can show us what they are capable of.
You might already run your own TikTok, Instagram or YouTube account, create content for friends or local businesses, or simply spend your spare time filming and editing videos. If you have creativity, confidence and a good understanding of what makes people stop scrolling, we would like to hear from you.
The role
You will become part of EPM and spend time getting to know our company, our engineers and the work we carry out. You will visit real jobs, film our team at work and turn what happens every day into interesting and engaging social media content.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Filming our engineers and projects across Exeter and Devon
- Editing short-form videos for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and YouTube Shorts
- Creating behind-the-scenes, educational and entertaining content
- Planning and posting content across our social media accounts
- Coming up with original ideas and regular video features
- Speaking to and interviewing members of the EPM team
- Following relevant social media trends and adapting them to our business
- Helping EPM develop a recognisable style and personality online
- Monitoring how posts perform and improving future content
- Helping us grow our audience, reach more local people and build awareness of the EPM brand
- Assisting with general office operations from time to time when required
We do not want generic corporate videos. We want genuine, interesting content that shows our people, the work we do and what it is really like behind the scenes at EPM.
What we are looking for
You should:
- Have a genuine interest in video creation and social media
- Understand what works on platforms such as TikTok and Instagram
- Be able to film and edit engaging short-form videos
- Be confident approaching people and encouraging them to get involved
- Have plenty of ideas and be comfortable suggesting them
- Be reliable, organised and able to manage a posting schedule
- Hold a full UK driving licence, as you will need to travel to jobs around Exeter and the surrounding areas
- Be willing to help the wider office team when needed
- Be keen to learn about EPM and become part of the company
Professional experience is not essential, but you must be able to show us examples of content you have created. This could be content from your own social media accounts, college projects, videos made for friends or previous work for a business.
