Duties
- Assist in food preparation and cooking of a variety of pub-style dishes, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times, helping with meal assembly and plating
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Prepare ingredients in advance for upcoming service periods, including chopping, marinating, and portioning
- Help with stock control by checking inventory levels and notifying management of supplies needed
- Serve food efficiently to customers at the bar or dining area, ensuring prompt and friendly service
- Follow all health and safety procedures to create a safe working environment for staff and customers
Skills
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours
- Good communication skills for working effectively with team members and serving guests
- Previous experience in serving or customer service roles is advantageous but not essential

Pay: £12.71-£16.00 per hour
