Telephone Agent
Location: Grey Street, Newcastle City Centre (Office Based)
Salary - £13.45 per hour / £26,227 Pro Rata (based on 37.5 hours)
Guaranteed Hours Contracts and Living Wage Employer
Variety of Part Time Shifts available varying from 16-24 hours per week
Flexible shifts between - Monday (10am-7pm) Tuesday to Thursday (10am-8pm), Friday (9am-4pm), Saturday (9-2pm as and when required). NB – You will be required to work some evenings.
Closing Date - 23 July 2026
Students are welcome to apply, as long as they can maintain their guaranteed hours during university holiday periods, except when taking agreed annual leave.

About the Role
Join our Contact Centre, where every conversation helps shape the insights that support our client research and projects.
As a Telephone Agent, you’ll use a well‑designed script to conduct survey calls — asking set questions, capturing responses accurately, and keeping each interaction clear, friendly, and professional. There’s no need to create your own dialogue; your focus is on bringing the script to life, building rapport, and guiding people smoothly through the conversation.

What You’ll Do
- Conduct outbound research‑based telephone interviews on behalf of our clients
- Capture and record responses clearly during calls
- Handle customer information securely and in line with procedures
- Represent our brand with a confident, friendly telephone manner
What We’re Looking For
- Customer service or contact centre experience (or similar)
- Self-motivated individuals who focus on outcomes, uphold our values and take pride in their work at all times
- Effective and confident communicator both verbal and written
- Able to follow scripts while staying personable and engaging on the phone
- Someone who can demonstrate flexibility and resilience remaining positive at all times
- Reliable, punctual and able to meet your scheduled hours
- Good typing skills and accuracy when entering data
Role is subject to a basic DBS check (which we deem is satisfactory).
