We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to support the daily operations of our hospitality establishment. Responsibilities
- Assist the Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and excellent customer service.
- Supervise and motivate team members, including FOH and kitchen personnel, fostering a positive working environment.
- Support food preparation and cooking processes, maintaining high standards of culinary quality and presentation when needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards across all departments.
- Monitor attendance to optimise staffing levels.
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve complaints promptly to uphold guest satisfaction.
- Assist in training new team members on procedures, protocols and operational standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the venue.
- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and coordinating with suppliers as needed.
Skills
- Proven experience in supervising or managing teams ideally within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams effectively.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional communication skills to interact confidently with staff and guests alike.
- Familiarity with hospitality standards including serving practices, beverage service (barista experience is advantageous), and general customer care.
Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
