Job Overview:
As a ERP Systems Administrator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation and utilization of our organization's ERP systems. You will be responsible for providing user training, developing training materials, offering first-line support, and managing user administration processes. Your expertise will contribute to enhancing the productivity and effectiveness of our business operations.
Key Responsibilities:
First-Line Support:
- Serve as the initial point of contact for users seeking assistance with system-related issues.
- Provide timely and effective resolution to user queries and technical problems, either independently or by escalating to appropriate support channels.
User Administration:
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights across various business systems.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements in user administration processes.
- Monitor user activity and system usage to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
Testing:
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to develop test plans and scenarios for new system implementations or upgrades.
- Conduct thorough testing of business systems to identify and report any issues or inconsistencies.
- Coordinate with vendors or internal development teams to address identified issues and ensure system reliability and functionality.
- Provide feedback and recommendations for system improvements based on testing results and user feedback.
Development of Training Materials:
- Create comprehensive training materials, including manuals, guides, and multimedia presentations, to support user training initiatives.
- Ensure training materials are up-to-date, accurate, and accessible to users through appropriate channels.
Experience:
2+ years using an ERP system (Epicor Experience Preferred)
