Chicken George On Tour is a fast-growing street food business serving customers at music festivals, food festivals, corporate events, private parties, weddings, and other special occasions. We are looking for reliable, enthusiastic individuals to join our casual events team to help us deliver successful events throughout our busy season.
Job Summary
As a Seasonal Food Truck Event Assitant, you will support our team at a variety of events, helping with food preparation, customer service, event setup and pack-down, and driving our food trucks to and from venues when required.
This role is ideal for someone who already has a primary job but is looking for additional weekend work, with occasional weekday opportunities during busy periods. Also we would prefer someone who has experience in street food and catering.
Responsibilities
- Driving company food trucks to and from event locations.
- Assisting with event setup and pack-down.
- Serving customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Taking orders and handling payments.
- Assisting with food preparation and service.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
- Supporting the team during busy trading periods.
- Following company procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Representing the Chicken George brand positively at all events.
Requirements
- Aged 25 or over (insurance requirements).
- Full UK driving licence.
- No penalty points on driving licence.
- Confident driving larger vehicles and willing to drive food trucks.
- Available to work weekends, including early starts and late finishes.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Friendly and confident dealing with customers.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting and moving event equipment when required.
- Experience in street food and catering.

Availability
Applicants should be available for regular weekend work throughout the season and willing to accept occasional weekday shifts when additional support is needed.
