We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well-regarded law firm in Chippenham, who are seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor to join their established Wills, Trusts & Probate team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified solicitor to take ownership of a varied caseload, within a firm that offers genuine autonomy, career progression, and a strong local reputation.
The role:
- Managing your own caseload of wills, trusts, probate, and estate administration matters
- Advising clients on inheritance tax planning, powers of attorney, and Court of Protection matters
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, often during sensitive or emotional circumstances
- Supervising and mentoring junior team members/paralegals
- Contributing to business development and the firm's local profile
What our client is looking for:
- Qualified Solicitor (NQ–5 PQE, though experienced candidates outside this range are welcome to apply)
- Solid private client experience with a strong technical grounding
- STEP qualification desirable but not essential
- Excellent client-care skills and a genuine, empathetic approach
- Ability to work autonomously while contributing to a collaborative team
