Frontier Consulting are assisting a national residential organisation to recruit an experienced CQC registered manager to join their lovely established care home in south shields.
This is a specialist residential location supporting people with physical disabilities, learning disabilities and complex needs. The Highlands is located in Birtley, Chester-le-Street and is close to the cities of Gateshead and Durham.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced CQC Registered Manager to lead and oversee a warm, welcoming 15-bed care home dedicated to providing exceptional senior care.
Duties
- Lead and manage all aspects of the care home operations, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and quality standards.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to maintain high standards of hygiene, safety, and resident satisfaction.
- Lead staff training initiatives on topics such as dementia care, medication management, and safeguarding procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to resident care, staff rotas, incident reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Build strong relationships with residents’ families and external health professionals to coordinate seamless care delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing a care home or assisted living facility with a strong understanding of CQC registration requirements.
- Relevant qualifications such as Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care or equivalent are highly desirable.
- A genuine passion for providing person-centered care that promotes independence and dignity for older adults.
