The role is based at our warehouse on North Weald Airfield. Reporting to the Warehouse Foreman, you will be part of an experienced, hard-working team responsible for keeping the warehouse running smoothly. Deliveries to customers are mainly within the M25 and the Home Counties. Opportunities to progress may include forklift training and assisting with set-up and de-rig at customer events
Responsibilities
- Consistently working to good health and safety standards, and following company warehouse procedures
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles using manual handling techniques
- Processing, picking and packing orders in a timely manner, working to targets
- Ensuring orders are accurate and reporting any discrepancies
- Moving and storing products in the correct warehouse area
- Moving pallets using a pallet truck
- Cleaning and maintaining warehouse equipment to set standards
- Occasionally driving our Luton and Transit vans to collect and deliver shipments to customers in a professional manner
Location & commitments
- This is a physically demanding role that involves lifting and moving heavy items and covering a large warehouse on foot, so several miles may be walked each day
- Monday to Friday
- Hours: 08:00–17:00, with 1 hour for lunch and 2 x 20-minute breaks
- Based at our warehouse on North Weald Airfield
- Regular overtime is available. Monday to Saturday overtime is paid at time and a half. Sunday and Bank Holiday overtime is paid at double time

Essential
- Able to meet the physical demands of the role
- Able to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment
- A flexible attitude to work and hours
- Good all-round communication skills
- Clean driving licence
- Professional van driving experience
- Own transport, due to the warehouse location
Desirable
- Previous experience within a warehouse environment
- Previous manual handling training or experience
- Forklift/counterbalance licence and experience
