About the role
Location : Ivybridge Recycling Centre, Ermington Road, Ivybridge, PL21 9ES
- Working days Friday to Tuesday (Wednesday & Thursday rest days)
- 40 hours a week between 1st April and 30th September
- 35.5 hours a week between 1st October and 31st March
- Monthly Bonus scheme
- Full training given
- Must be able to drive

What will I be doing?
Providing excellent levels of customer service at our Household Waste Recycling Centre, you will advise and assist members of the public on how to use the site in order to maximise the recovery of materials they are depositing, which will involve:
- Maintaining accurate records for the removal of materials from the site.
- Controlling the exchange of containers
- Maintaining a tidy site within your areas of responsibility.
- Ensuring SUEZ complies fully with its legal duties in respect of the health, safety and welfare of its employees and of other people who may be affected by their actions or omissions.
- Co-operating with SUEZ and with other employees in order to comply with the site permit, comply with all applicable legislation, and SUEZ Policies and Procedures.
Any other duties that are reasonably requested within the scope of the job-role.

What are the requirements?
A good level of customer service and ability to work in a team.
Ideally prior mobile plant use is desirable but full training will be given.
A flexible approach to work will be advantageous as you will be expected to cover holiday and sick days if required.
