About the Role:
At Telepac Technology and Digital Services, accurate data and clear reporting help our teams make better operational and commercial decisions. We are looking for a Data Analyst who can collect, organise, analyse, and present information from multiple business systems.
You will work with operations, finance, customer service, technology, and management teams to identify reporting requirements and turn complex datasets into practical insights. You will also support data quality improvements, dashboard development, performance reporting, and ongoing analysis of business trends.
This position is suitable for an experienced analyst who is comfortable working with large datasets, reporting tools, and stakeholders from different departments.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Collection:
Collect and combine information from business systems, spreadsheets, databases, and operational reports.
Data Analysis:
Analyse business performance, customer activity, service levels, financial results, and operational trends.
Dashboard Development:
Create and maintain dashboards that provide clear and timely performance information to managers and internal teams.
Reporting:
Prepare regular and ad hoc reports covering key performance indicators, trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Data Quality:
Review datasets for missing, duplicated, inconsistent, or inaccurate information and support corrective action.
Stakeholder Support:
Work with internal departments to understand reporting requirements and provide analysis that supports business decisions.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities to improve data collection, reporting accuracy, automation, and information sharing.
Performance Monitoring:
Track agreed measures and investigate significant changes, unusual results, or performance gaps.
Data Visualisation:
Present complex findings through clear charts, summaries, dashboards, and written recommendations.
Documentation:
Maintain reporting procedures, data definitions, dashboard notes, and analysis records.
System Support:
Assist with reporting system updates, user testing, data validation, and implementation of new analytical tools.
Confidentiality:
Handle sensitive business and customer information responsibly and follow company data protection procedures.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
Previous experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, operations analysis, finance analysis, or a similar position.
Technical Skills:
Confidence using Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data validation, and reporting functions.
Database Knowledge:
Experience using SQL or similar database query tools to retrieve, organise, and analyse information.
Visualisation Tools:
Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or another dashboard and data visualisation platform is preferred.
Analytical Ability:
Able to identify patterns, investigate unusual results, and explain the meaning of data clearly.
Attention to Detail:
A careful and accurate approach to data validation, calculations, reporting, and documentation.
Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present findings to technical and non technical stakeholders.
Problem Solving:
Able to assess reporting issues, identify root causes, and recommend practical improvements.
Organisation:
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage recurring reports and multiple analysis requests.
Commercial Awareness:
An understanding of how operational, customer, and financial performance contributes to wider business objectives.
Teamwork:
A cooperative and dependable professional who can work effectively with multiple departments.
Adaptability:
Comfortable learning new systems, working with changing requirements, and managing different types of business data.
Pay: £2,800.00-£3,300.00 per month
