Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Experienced Upvc Window & Door Fitter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining high-quality UPVC windows and doors across various residential projects. Duties
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install UPVC windows and doors according to project specifications and schematics
- Ensure precise fitting of windows and doors, maintaining alignment and sealing for optimal insulation and security
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively during installation processes
- Conduct site inspections to assess installation requirements and troubleshoot any issues that arise during fitting
- Collaborate with team members, contractors, and clients to coordinate schedules and ensure smooth project progression
- Perform maintenance or repairs on existing UPVC installations as needed, ensuring longevity and performance
- Follow health and safety guidelines rigorously to maintain a safe working environment at all times
Qualifications
- Proven experience in UPVC window and door fitting
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, schematics reading, fabrication techniques, and construction site safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail
