Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Skilled Labourer/Groundworker to join our dynamic team. In this hands-on role, you will be instrumental in supporting construction, landscaping, and site development projects by performing a variety of physical tasks. Duties
- Assist with site preparation including clearing, leveling, and excavating work to create safe and efficient work environments
- Operate basic tools and machinery such as shovels, wheelbarrows, compactors, and hand-held power tools with precision and care
- Support the installation of landscaping features, fencing, paving, or other groundworks as directed by supervisors
- Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
- Assist with material handling including loading, unloading, and transporting supplies around the site
- Follow all safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) during tasks
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects on time and uphold quality standards
Experience
- Previous experience in construction, landscaping, or groundworks is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated individuals eager to learn
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and machinery used in groundworking activities is advantageous
- Strong work ethic with a focus on teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail
- Basic understanding of health and safety procedures relevant to construction or landscaping sites

Pay: £12.71-£13.50 per hour
