The Role
As a Primary Class Teacher, you'll play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive and inspiring learning environment where every child can achieve their full potential.
Depending on the role, you may teach a KS1 or KS2 class, delivering high-quality lessons, assessing pupil progress and contributing to the wider life of the school.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum
- Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
- Assessing, monitoring and reporting on pupil progress
- Differentiating learning to meet the needs of all pupils
- Supporting pupils with SEND, EHCPs or additional learning needs
- Managing behaviour in line with school policies
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, parents and carers
- Contributing to staff meetings, school events and wider school life
- Maintaining high standards of safeguarding, professionalism and pupil welfare
What we're looking for
We're looking for enthusiastic and dedicated teachers who are passionate about making a positive difference in children's education.
You should have:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching within UK primary schools or successful teaching placements
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
- Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A positive, flexible and proactive approach
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
